Blakeway North , a regional office of Ten Alps-owned Blakeway Productions specialises in factual programming for a range of broadcasters.
In the first year of trading, Blakeway North has won a host of network commissions from the BBC, ITV and Sky Real Lives. Productions have included: 'Extreme Slimmers' for ITV1, 'A Mother Like Alex' and 'The Dog that Saved My Marriage' for Sky Real Lives, The Money Programme 'Media Revolution – Title Fight' for BBC2 and an international three part series 'Future of Food' with George Alagiah for BBC2 .
The Manchester office is headed up by award-winning Executive Producer Sarah Murch, formerly Head of Documentaries at Granada Television. Murch has hundreds of hours of programming under her belt and credits with all major broadcasters including C4, BBC, ITV1, ITV2, ITV3, FIVE, Discovery Health, TLC and TRIO. Her Exec-Producer credits include 'A Child’s Life' trilogy for Channel 4 which included the channel’s highest rated documentary of 2007 – 'The Smallest People in the World' and 'Born in the USSR – 21 Up Russia'.
